Please understand that this schedule is tentative. We do not yet have the dates
for AWANA Games or Bible Quiz. There will also be practices for AWANA Games and
Bible Quiz, as well as work shop days for Grand Prix. We will send out notices
about any additional activities. Activities that depend on the weather may have
to be postponed, rescheduled or canceled. If weather is too treacherous to
travel, AWANA Club nights and activities WILL BE CANCELED. Cancellations will be
announced via WDUX radio.
Please keep this schedule handy and help your child prepare for upcoming events.
Note that we will have a pop tab collection for the Ronald McDonald House, so
begin saving tabs now. Also, we recycle computer ink cartridges and receive $3
for each cartridge returned. Please bring these in and put them in the display
box in the foyer.
The Adopt-a-Club collections help us to support our two adopted clubs, in India
and in Cuba. The money collected goes to help purchase supplies for these AWANA
clubs that are located in very poor countries. Our support is critical to allow
them to reach children there for Christ. Please help us to support these
missionaries.
In addition to supporting these international missionaries, we also support our
local AWANA Missionary, Roy Koopman. Roy is the one who organizes the AWANA
Games, Bible Quiz, Training for AWANA Leaders and does many more things to allow
AWANA to flourish here in Wisconsin. As a church we send monthly support to our
AWANA missionary. Every Sunday morning our children have the opportunity to fill
the huge glass bottle in the sanctuary with whatever offering they like. This
money is collected and sent as a special offering in addition to our monthly
support. We appreciate your support in this offering.
